I am happy to take on most commissions – head & shoulders, full-body, and more recently, pets and kids.
A Rough Idea of Cost
Pencil, charcoal: £300-500
Oil: £750 – £1500
N.B. I ask for 50% upfront and the remainder on completion.
Process
I have to work from photos as my portraits take weeks or even months to produce. I can work from photos supplied or can do a photoshoot myself.
Timeframe
I like to have 1-3 months to complete but can do them quicker if required, depending on workload.
“Patrick is a huge talent.
He has not only captured our beloved pet he has captured their enthusiasm for life!!
Patrick is a perfectionist – his eye for detail is acute as is his dedication to deliver the very best. He worked endlessly hard, including me every step of the way. I was touched.
I cannot wait for Patrick to create our next painting!”

Portrait for Dan
You know you’ve basically given me a family heirloom??
Amazing. Thanks so much!” Dan
“Patrick made a beautiful portrait of my daughter and I, he is incredibly talented and the whole process was so lovely.
He communicated with me throughout so I felt so involved in the creative design and sent regular updates and pictures throughout. When i saw it face to face it literally made me cry. He captured so much emotion – such a special picture.
We will 100% use him again and would recommend in a heart beat. If you want something super personal then he is your guy!!!” Alice
“Wow – this is fantastic!

“Thanks Patrick for a brilliant portrait – we both love it! It was a brilliant experience throughout and we felt thrilled to have you working on this for us.
It’s more than a likeness, it also captures a time, a feeling, a frame of mind. Every good wish.”
