I exhibit through a number of galleries across the UK. I am also the life-drawing tutor at The Fire-Station Arts Centre in Windsor.
I originally studied at Heatherley's School of Art in London and at The National College of Art and Design, Dublin. I have also been
lucky enough to have been given extensive personal tuition by Michael Clark, a friend of Francis Bacon and by Bobby Gill,
an honorary fellow of The Royal College of Art.
Very flattered to be included in this list of the 10 best contemporary portrait artists!
My painting is on the cover of a new book by India's poet Laureate - Musings in Yellow by Supriya Dhaliwalu
“Patrick Palmer is a modern master of figurative art. His post-romantic nudes are not only exquisitely painted, but also dreamy, delicate
and suggestive. They only hint at sensuality and evoke fantasy in the subtle and elegant manner that distinguishes art from pornography.”
